PFA Safety Training Programme

 

The PFA is committed to encourage the safe operation and correct maintenance of this type of equipment and the Association has launched a Safety Training Programme for the customers of member companies.

The PFA Safety Training Programme promotes the safe and effective use of this type of equipment. Safe use means that:

  • The potential for accidents is reduced
  • Tools are being used in the correct manner
  • The full quality and productivity benefits are gained

In early 2002 the PFA published a safety booklet "Using Power Fastening Driving Tools Safely!" and a safety poster.  They provide essential information on safe working practices when using this type of equipment.  They are available in printed format by contacting the PFA but both can be downloaded in PDF format from this site.
